Hamilton Princess Gives Free Staycations To Emergency Services

To celebrate the extension of the hotel’s staycation getaway rates for locals, Hamilton Princess & Beach Club has given away more than a dozen two-night stays to emergency services.

The gesture is the hotel’s way of thanking first line workers for their hard work during the Covid-19 pandemic and throughout the active hurricane season. The two-night stay vouchers, perfect for a restorative weekend, have been distributed to emergency services including Bermuda Fire & Rescue, Emergency Medical Services and the Royal Bermuda Regiment.

As staycations rise in popularity, the hotel has extended its incredibly popular locals’ rate which allows islanders to enjoy a break away from home and their cares. Rates begin at $229 a night for a Fairmont King room, which includes a $50 credit, which can be used in the resort’s restaurants and at the newly opened Duchess Café and Gelateria. While staying at Hamilton Princess, guests can use the gym facilities, luxuriate at the Princess Beach Club with the pink sand between their toes and enjoy drinks by the side of the salt water infinity pool overlooking Hamilton Harbour.

For those looking for even more luxury, locals can pay from $269 a night for a Fairmont King Room, and enjoy a $100 spa credit to put towards any treatment at Exhale Spa during their stay. This spa rate must be booked at least four days in advance of the stay.

Tim Morrison, General Manager, said: “We are pleased to be able to share a token of our gratitude and support of Bermuda’s emergency workers. We truly appreciate everything they do to keep us safe and well.

“While the world is gradually reopening, we’re delighted that so many Bermudians are choosing to spend their valuable time off with us and enjoy staycations closer to home.”
